Built a drag-and-drop smart contract builder for real estate transactions at the Cardano hackathon in Miami with IOHK (Input Output). Context on IOHK’s work in blockchain and Ada is linked below.
Wins
Short builds where you invent something, ship it, and pitch it. Photos from the events, plus a few wins that show how I work under pressure.

My mom was in a hit-and-run, and getting her medical files from the doctors was a nightmare. That stuck with me. At the Yuuvis Hackathon at Galvanize in Austin, hosts asked us to build with their APIs. My idea: query medical data, share it with your doctor, and let them request it by scanning a QR code. Built with Meteor.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus the Yuuvis API and Twilio SendGrid. Prize from OPTIMAL SYSTEMS (yuuvis).

At DeveloperWeek in Austin they asked for a VR education app. Instead of a game that feels like school, I gamified something kids already do in real life: shopping. LearnUp is a Unity VR store where counting, currency, and memory skills show up as part of the experience, so learning doesn’t feel like school. Prize from InMotion Software.

I cared about this because my uncle was a Marine. I lost him on his second tour of duty in Fallujah. The idea: gamify resources for veterans, then let them share their stories to inspire others. Hackathon prototype in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap at Capital Factory (hosted by the VA). That win led me to spin up a startup and build it out in Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy on AWS EC2 with S3 for images, plus Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.

My first hackathon. I was 18, didn’t own a laptop, and showed up with a Mac Mini and a monitor. The hosts told us to build something for a site called Fat Wednesday, so I made a Fat Albert eating-food game in HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Won a URL. Hosted with Techstars and Galvanize.
Hackathons prove speed. The projects page is where the longer builds live.
